indigenous Partnerships

Custom Courier is committed to building long-term Indigenous partnerships rooted in respect, collaboration, and mutual success. As a Saskatchewan-based company operating in Treaty 4 and 6 territory, we recognize the importance of economic reconciliation and meaningful engagement with Indigenous communities.

Our leadership team has completed Four Seasons of Reconciliation training and continues to expand its understanding of Indigenous history, culture, and economic participation. This commitment guides how we hire, partner, and support Indigenous businesses and communities across Saskatchewan.

In recognition of these efforts, Custom Courier was named a 2025 Mistahi Mamîcîhîtowin Award finalist. The award, presented through the SABEX business awards in Saskatoon, recognizes organizations that foster strong relationships with Indigenous communities and promote economic reconciliation through partnerships, community investment, and collaboration.

partnering with George GOrdon Development ltd.

Custom Courier and SENDR Shipping are proud to partner with George Gordon Development Ltd. (GGDL), the economic development arm of the George Gordon First Nation. Since 2024, this collaboration has created meaningful opportunities for employment, investment, and shared business growth.

Through this partnership, Custom Courier has supported local economic development initiatives and strengthened long-term relationships within the community. GGDL has formally recognized this collaboration, noting the positive impact it has had on community investment and business development.

By working together, our organizations are building a partnership that supports sustainable economic participation while helping Indigenous communities expand their presence in Saskatchewan’s growing logistics and transportation sector.

Supporting Indigenous Communities

Custom Courier works closely with Indigenous Nations across Saskatchewan to provide reliable transportation services and create employment opportunities within the logistics industry.

Our team regularly collaborates with Indigenous communities to support transportation needs, supply chains, and local businesses. At the same time, we actively seek opportunities to employ Indigenous drivers, warehouse staff, and logistics professionals.

We believe that long-term success comes from partnerships built on trust and shared opportunity. As our company grows, we remain committed to expanding mutually beneficial relationships with Indigenous Nations and businesses throughout the region.

Community Engagement

Custom Courier proudly supports initiatives through the White Buffalo Youth Lodge (WBYL) in Saskatoon. Operated through partnerships with the Saskatoon Tribal Council and community organizations, WBYL is a multipurpose facility dedicated to improving the health, well-being, and opportunities for children and youth in the inner city.

Custom Courier supports the annual Backpacks for Kids event, which helps ensure children and families have the supplies they need for a successful school year. By supporting organizations like WBYL, we aim to contribute to stronger communities and brighter futures for Indigenous youth.
